After the musical success conducting the last work of the singer Isabel Pantoja last November, Carlos Checa join to Universal Music as musical director of the Symphony Orchestra of the record company on the Spanish Tour and as musical director of the International tour to 2017.
The performances for the months of February and March include venues such as the Barclaycard Center in Madrid on Saturday, February 11, and Saturday, February 18 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
The international tour begins in Chile, as part of the Viña del Mar festival with performances on February 22, March 1 in Peru, at the Jockey Club in Lima, with the Lima Symphony Orchestra, and on March 5th in Santiago de Chile.
Carlos Checa conduct’s the Barcelona Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Barcelona Auditorium. Benefit concert on behalf of refugees.

Carlos Checa , conductor and artistic director of the” Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona” will conduct the inaugural concert of the 2015-2016 season in the Foyer of the Gran Teatre del Liceu de Barcelona on Sunday 25 October with works by Mozart and Beethoven. +info.
The recording of HIPODÁMICA by Paco Toledo was in ” Gran Teatro Falla” Cádiz, when Carlos Checa conducted and recorded with the Orquesta Manuel de Falla this wonderfull work.Now the EMEC discos company edit this Symphony with other pieces by Paco Toledo.
Carlos Checa returns this month of October to America, this time with the support of Acción Cultural Española and the Spanish Embassy in Honduras, where will conduct some concerts with the Filarmónica de Honduras thanks to the personal invitation of the maestro Jorge G. Mejía.
Next 9th of August as part of the “International Music Festival Serranía de Cuenca” (Spain), Carlos Checa will conduct again the “Orquesta Cuenca Ciudad de Música” with the choir “Orfeón de Cuenca” performing a wonderful Mozart’s masterpieces: the Prague Symphony and Coronation Mass.

Carlos Checa makes his debut in Caracas with OSJFM on 10th of May at the prestigious “Sistema Nacional de Orquestas y Coros Juveniles de Venezuela”.He will conduct works by Chausson, Boildeau, Ravel and Falla with the soloist Cristina Montes and Mathilde Borsarello conducting the Sinfónica Francisco de Miranda.The concert will take place at the “Sala Simon Bolivar” in the Centro Nacional de Acción social por la Música.
