Carlos Checa, musical director of the Symphony Orchestra of the Universal Music label, conduct’s in the bullring of Murcia in the framework of the international tour of the singer Isabel Pantoja.

Concert on June 24th  conducting the Symphony Orchestra of  Universal Music  at the Estadio de la Cartuja, in Seville, on the Isabel Pantoja Tour 2017. + Info http://www.universalmusic.es/

As a social and solidarity project in support of the marginalized and vulnerable sectors of our society, Carlos Checa and the Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona, in collaboration with Penitentiary institutions, La Caixa Banking Foundation and the Archbishopric of Barcelona, ​​will offer a concert May 21 at the Brians Penitentiary Center. The program includes the Adagio of Mozart’s Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra, which will be performed by soloist Alejandro Lobato and completed with the Symphony nº 4 in Re minor Op 120 by Robert Schumann.

Carlos Checa conduct’s the JOSB with an premiere of the Catalan composer Albert Carbonell, and works the Symphony n4 in D minor by Schumann. The concerts will be held on May 14 and 15 at the Centre Civic La Sedeta, and Paraninfo of the UB + Info at www.josb.cat

Carlos Checa conduct’s the Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona , with works by Tchaikovsky and Bizet. Concerts at the CMMB Auditorium of Barcelona n Sunday, March 19, and Twesday 21th a benefit concert at the Auditori. + info at www.josb.cat

After the musical success conducting the  last work of the singer Isabel Pantoja last November, Carlos Checa join to Universal Music as musical director of the Symphony Orchestra of the record company on the Spanish Tour and  as musical director of the International tour to 2017.

The performances for the months of February and March include venues such as the Barclaycard Center in Madrid on Saturday, February 11, and Saturday, February 18 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
The international tour begins in Chile, as part of the Viña del Mar festival with performances on February 22, March 1 in Peru, at the Jockey Club in Lima, with the Lima Symphony Orchestra, and on March 5th in Santiago de Chile.

Carlos Checa conduct’s the Barcelona Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Barcelona Auditorium. Benefit concert on behalf of refugees.

Carlos Checa is artistic director since its founding in 2005 of the FIMUC festival, the International Music Festival “Serrania de Cuenca” . In this eleventh edition, the concerts of the festival will be held on 12th 13th and 14th August. More info at www.fimuc.com/
